Mitsubishi Estate Company has sold Bow Bells House in the City of London for more than £140 mln. The building has been sold to an overseas client of Constanti Real Estate and Gresham Down. The office and retail development totals around 165,000 sq ft and is located on the junction of Cheapside and Bread Street. The building was completed in December 2007 and was designed by David Walker Associates and HOK International. The office element of the building is let to the Bank of Ireland and Aberdeen Asset Management. According to managing director Masami Amano, Mitsubishi Estate Company UK is currently looking across the City and West End for development opportunities of a similar size and quality to the Central Saint Giles scheme in Covent Garden.
